From Calvin's release "Through High Places", "Mountain Memories" was written after Calvin returned from a trip through Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park. The majestic peaks at 14000' created the vision for this tune. Beginning with delicate alpine flowers, Mountain Memories builds into a Pike's Peak crescendo with hammering octaves in the bass finally climaxing with sustenuto pedal action at FFF.
