I bought this CD solely on Calvin Jones' name. I happened upon his previous CD, Coming Home, and bought it only because it was solo piano. I was blown away by it, and Uncharted Waters has managed to do the same. Calvin is fast becoming my favorite pianist. His style reminds me of George Winston.

I heard Calvin play live several years ago the same songs on this CD. He is an intense and passionate pianist and this energy is reflected in his music. For anyone interested in beautiful piano solos, you will find Calvin's music to be both relaxing and exhilarating. His talent for both composing and performing is exceptional and I look forward to a new release.
