One of the challenges of introducing Christians to psalmody is that many of the tunes are awkward and stilted and not always easy to sing. In contrast, Calvin's psalms flow beautifully. They draw the heart of the worshipper into the psalm we are singing and compliment the psalm rather than to distract from it. May there one day be a complete psalter available that is done in this manner.
If you are debating over whether you want to make the investment in a license such as this, let me encourage you to do so; you will not regret the choice.

This setting of Psalm 138 joins lyric and melody beautifully! A fitting tune, it is a perfect vehicle for conveying the thoughts of the Psalm. It is accessible to the congregation which means that we are able to worship God in spirit and truth while singing His own Word with excellence.
